At the ongoing D23 expo here, Disney Parks and Resorts chairman Bob Chapek announced plans to create an experiential concept in an immersive Star Wars-themed hotel.
Dedicated entirely to the epic space saga, the hotel will be a one-of-a-kind experience where a luxury resort will meet a daily thrilling mission in the Star Wars universe.
In addition, Disney's Hotel New York: The Art of Marvel is coming to Disneyland Paris that will take the guests to the action-packed world of super heroes such as Iron Man, The Avengers, Spider-Man and more.
A new resort- Disney Riviera Resort- was also announced. It will be connected to the Theme Parks via a transportation system called Disney Skyliner.
Expected to open in autumn 2019, this new resort experience is slated to be the 15th Disney Vacation Club property.
"Our Vacation Club Members are among our most loyal fans, and we think that they will love what we have planned, especially the rooftop restaurant that will offer unbelievable views of nighttime spectaculars at both Epcot and Hollywood Studios," Chapek said.
"We decided two ships wouldn't be enough to hold all of the exciting new experiences we have been dreaming up to take the family cruise vacations to a whole new level," Chapek said.
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway ride, will soon be a major attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
With a new original story and lovable attraction theme song, this new state-of-the-art ride-through attraction will take guests on a journey inside the wacky and unpredictable world of "Mickey Mouse" cartoon using new technologies.
