Singer Stevie Wonder paid tribute to legendary musician friend Prince at a memorial concert in Los Angeles.
A memorial service was held for the late Prince on Friday night May 6, where Wonder made a surprise appearance, reported Female First.
The "I Just Called to Say I Love You" hitmaker was joined by Faith Hill, Eric Benet, Aloe Blacc and Deitrick Haddon as they performed for thousands of fans, all adorned in purple in honour of the fallen star, at the City Hall in California as a token of remembrance for the 'Purple Rain' hitmaker.
The 65-year-old singer closed with show with his very own version of Prince's 1984 hit before telling the emotional concert-goers, "In the spirit of Prince, we gotta love one another. And we can't just talk about it, we gotta be about it."
Fans had tears rolling down their faces as Eric belted out the lyrics to Prince's "Wanna Be Your Lover" before teaming up with Deirick to sing 'Raspberry Beret'.
Although the three-hour long concert was mainly a celebration of Prince's life, the event did take an emotional turn when a flock of doves were released during a performance of "When Doves Cry" towards the end.
Prince passed away at the age of 57 on April 21 at his home in Minneapolis.
