Stolen car recovered

A stolen car that was used in murder of a youth in Delhi Cantt has been recovered from a criminal arrested from south-west Delhi, police said today.
Accused Vikramjeet alias Vicky, elder brother of a notorious member of Shakti gang in Najafgarh, Dayanand, was arrested from his village Nangal Devat close to Vasant Kunj, by a team of Crime Branch, said Ravindra Yadav, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime).
During interrogation, Vikramjeet revealed about the car which was used in murder of a youth Clive in Delhi Cantonment area, on July 26 this year. The car was recovered from Mahipalpur by the police team.

The car was robbed on gun-point from a Nangloi resident Sushil Gupta near Najafgarh drain. A cash amount of Rs 8 lakh and laptop were also looted from Gupta, while he was on his way to Gurgaon, he said.
Vikramjeet revealed that he had cleaned the car after murder of Clive and was searching for customers to dispose off the vehicle, added the officer.
