"The subject of the movie is the one which I have always been experiencing," Rodricks told PTI today.
"Onir requested me whether I can dress a male star of the movie... I agreed to it," said the designer, who had designed costumes for Bipasha Basu-starrer 2003 film 'Jism'.
Wendell said he wanted to look at himself as a stylist and not as a fashion designer for the project ('Shab').
"The look of a character is very important for any movie. I am not looking at this project for public relations, but as a project which is very close to my heart," he said.
"Thrilled to have the Padmashree Awardee Wendell Rodricks to style my actor @Ashishbisht29 for @ShabTheFilm," Onir posted on Twitter earlier.
With 'Shab', the 'I Am' maker is returning to his pet subject of delving into psyche and darkness of human mind.
