The company had posted a net profit of Rs 35.81 crore for the corresponding period of previous fiscal.
The company's total income from operations went up by 33.34 per cent to Rs 953.47 crore during the quarter under review compared to Rs 715.06 crore in the year-ago period, Strides Shasun said in a BSE filing.
"The regulated markets and the institutional business continue to deliver healthy growth with an improved sequential performance on a higher revenue base...Active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) performance during the quarter was impacted," Strides Shasun Executive Vice Chairman and Managing Director Arun Kumar said.
