"It was meant to be a practice in river-crossing," said Lt Gen. Shokin Chauhan, General Officer Commanding of Strike 1, who oversaw the exercise with senior Army officers and reaffirmed the "highest degree of operational preparedness" of Strike 1 in all facets of war-fighting.
Codenamed'Megh Prahar', the exercise was undertaken by the Armoured Division of Strike 1, based at Hisar. It showcased the variety of equipment, innovativeness of commanders, jointmanship, professional outlook and war-waging potential of the DOT Division.
