Student dies after forcible administration of drug

A Class V student died in Karawal Nagar area of the national capital due to overdose of drug allegedly administered on him by his neighbour, police said today.
Saurabh was playing outside his house yesterday when the 17-year-old neighbour took him to an isolated place and allegedly administered the drug.
He was found unconscious and rushed to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital where he died during treatment.
Later, the victim's family protested outside the Karawal Nagar police station against alleged police inaction in the handling the case.
The accused has been arrested, police said.
