The boy had left behind a two-and-a-half page suicide note alleging that he was taking the extreme step due to study pressure as well as the separation from family, he said.
"I have not been able to do well in my studies. They have become very tough for me. I am also unable to bear the separation from my family members," the note read.
The police said that the boy had ringed his grandfather last night before committing the crime.
