Student jumps off third floor over poor marks in exam

Disturbed over getting poor marks in her exam, a Class-IX student of a public school today jumped off the third floor of her school building in Patel Nagar area, police said.
However, the girl sustained minor injuries as she fell on the fibre sheet roof of the parking lot, they said.
Police said upset over getting poor marks in her exams conducted in August, she jumped off the third floor of her school building.
After the incident, she was rushed to a nearby hospital from where she was later discharged, they said.
