Maharashtra Education Minister Vinod Tawde today said the students, who are unable to clear the SSC Board (Class X) exam, will be given counselling and skill development training to save their academic year.
The state government has decided to hold the re-exam for them in the second week of July, he said.
"Our aim is remove the remark of 'SSC Failed' from their marksheets. Those students who are unable to clear the re-exams will be counselled by career counsellors to identify the skills they have and will be given admissions to Skill Development courses to avoid a loss an academic year," Tawde said.
The minister was speaking at the inauguration of an additional building of a local college run by Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj (MVPS) here.
