According to city police, PSI Sachin Waman Matte (30), attached to Gittikhadan police station in West Nagpur locality had been allegedly sexually exploiting the young woman on the pretext of marrying her.
According to the complaint filed by the victim at Ambazhari police station, Matte established physical relations with her and repeatedly raped her between June and September this year at his Ravi Nagar government quarters.
When the woman insisted on marriage a couple of days ago, he allegedly abused and assaulted her, the complaint said.
