SI Ram Yagya Yadav, posted at Mohanlalganj police station, was yesterday suspended by Senior Superintendent of Police Manjil Saini.
A video of Yadav getting a foot massage from a man inside the police station was posted on the social media drawing angry reactions.
However, police said it was not clear whether the person giving the foot massage was a complainant or a detainee.
Circle officer has been handed the inquiry into the matter and given two weeks time to submit his report.
