Sudesh Mahto loses from Silli

Former deputy chief minister and AJSU party president Sudesh Mahto today lost from his home turf Silli after representing it for nearly 15 years.
Mahto lost to JMM's Amit Kumar by 29,740 votes.
Mahto was deputy chief minister in the erstwhile Shibu Soren and Arjun Munda governments.
The AJSU party, which has a pre-poll alliance with the BJP, has contested eight seats.
