Sen was produced before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) Debdeep Manna after being brought from Dum Dum jail in the morning and police sought 14 days' custody.
When accosted by mediapersons during his hasty exit from the court through a backdoor, he said that "everything will be clear in the next three months".
Sen said he would cooperate with the investigating authorities and make sure that the poor investors get their money back.
A large number of Congress supporters, agents of the collapsed chit fund company and investors demonstrated in the Baruipur court premises when Sen was brought from production.
Sen and his aide faced noisy demonstration again when he was taken out of the court through the back door in a small car.
As the otherwise peaceful demonstration turned into a scuffle, police resorted to lathicharge in which a person was injured. He was bleeding from his head.
Asked aboout the reason for his company's downfall, Sen said that a few of his trusted employees were to blame for the collapse.
He refused to name any political leader associated with his company.
