Sugar millgate prices show mixed trend

Millgate sugar depicted a mixed trend at the wholesale market in the national capital today as select prices edged up on scattered demand while a few others remained lower on adequate stocks position.
Marketmen said scattered buying support helped select millgate prices to end higher.
In the millgate section, Mawana rose by Rs 10 to Rs 3,090 per quintal. Dhanora, Simbholi,Bulandshahr and Chandpur were also enquired higher by Rs 5 each to Rs 3,025, Rs 3,145, Rs 3,015 and Rs 2,985 per quintal, respectively.
On the other hand, Kinnoni, Budhana, Thanabhavan, Modinagar, Morna,Sakoti and Nazibabad settled lower at Rs 3,150, Rs 3,035, Rs 3,020, 2,985, 2,940, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,930 on ample stocks as compared to previous levels of Rs 3,160, Rs 3,040, Rs 3,030, Rs 3,020, Rs 2,950, Rs 3,020 and Rs 2,940 per quintal, respectively.
