Sugar millgate prices slip on selling pressure

In thin trade, prices of sugar millgate slipped at the wholesale market in the national capital today largely on ample stocks following persistent supplies from mills against slackened buying by bulk consumers.
Marketmen said adequate stocks following persistent supplies from mills amid subdued demand from bulk consumers largely put pressure on sweetener prices.
In millgate section, sugar Simbholi dropped by Rs 20 at Rs 2,900, while Khatuli by Rs 10 at Rs 2,900 per quintal.

Sugar retail markets - Rs 30.00-35.00 per kg.
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 2,980-3,100 S-30 Rs 2,970-3,090.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,710-2,925 S-30 Rs 2,700-2,915.
