Sugar slips on lower demand at the wholesale market

Both the varieties of sugar price slipped at the Vashi wholesale market here today following lower demand from stockists and retailers.
Small sugar (S-30) fell by Rs 13 per quintal to Rs 3,832/4,912 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 3,832/3,925.
Medium sugar (M-30) also eased by Rs 4 per quintal to Rs 3,876/4,092 against Rs 3,880/4,092 previously.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,832/3,912 (Rs 3,832/3,925).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,876/4,092 (Rs 3,880/4,092).
