Soudagar Shinde hanged himself from a ceiling fan at his house in Vaibhavnagar here in Central Maharashtra last evening, an officer of Shivaji police station said.
The 25-year-old was alone in the house at the time of the incident, he said.
The reason behind the suicide was not yet known, police said.
