Yesterday's Well marked low pressure area over Southwest Bay off Srilanka coast persists and it may concentrate into a depression during the next 48 hours.
Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu. Dry weather prevailed over Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Karnataka.
The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimetres are: TAMIL NADU: Nil. KERALA:Nil. KARNATAKA: Nil. ANDHRAPRADESH: Nil. TELANGANA: Nil.
Cold wave conditions prevailed over some parts of North interior Karnataka.
The minimum temperature rose at one or two places over Telangana, fell at one or two places over North and Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and changed little elsewhere over the rest of the region.

They were largely below normal at a few or two places over South interior Karnataka, markedly below normal at one or two places over North interior Karnataka, appreciably below normal at one or two places over rest North interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, below normal at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, at one or two places over Coastal Karnataka, Telangana, North interior Tamil Nadu and were nearly normal over the rest of the region.

Adilabad recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 05 degree Celsius in the plains of the region.

DAY 3 (29th December): Rain or thundershowers would occur at many places over Coastal Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and at a few places over interior Tamil Nadu. Isolated rain or thundershowers may occur over Kerala, South interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and South Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Dry weather will prevail over Lakshadweep, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Coastal and North interior Karnataka.
