Sunny's son Karan is learning the ropes of the trade and worked as an assistant director for the film helmed by Sangeeth Sivan and produced by Dharmendra.
Karan has even sung and written a few lines for a song in the film, a sequel to 2011 comedy-drama of the same name.
'Yamla Pagla Deewana', directed by Samir Karnik, starred Dharmendra and his sons Sunny and Bobby Deol. The sequel will see the three actors reprising their roles.
Karan, along with Bobby, his uncle, has crooned a few lines in the song that will be picturised on the three Deols.
