Supreme Court proceedings halted due bomb scare
Press Trust of India Kathmandu Nepal's Supreme Court today suspended its proceedings after receiving a bomb threat over two anonymous phone calls which later turned out to be hoax.
The phone calls warned of bombs planted in the apex court building, the police said.
A bomb disposal squad of the Nepal Army was called in, however, nothing suspicious was found, they said.
All Supreme Court justices and staff were evacuated.
Police said they were searching for the person behind the call.
