Suresh Soni appointed DHFL Pramerica MF Chief Executive

Suresh Soni has been appointed the new Chief Executive of DHFL Pramerica Mutual Fund with immediate effect.
As the CEO, Soni will be responsible for the ongoing integration and strategy of the company's business, a statement said here today.
Before the current assignment, Soni, who has put 23 years in the mutual fund industry, was working as head of Deutsche Bank's Indian asset management business, it said.
He is also a chartered accountant and cost accountant.
DHFL Pramerica Asset Managers has successfully completed its previously announced acquisition of Deutsche Bank's Indian asset management business.
The asset management firm is a 50:50 joint venture between US-based Prudential Financial Inc (PFI) and India's Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd (DHFL).

As of March 4, the combined assets under management of DHFL Pramerica MF stood at Rs 25,428 crore. With the buyout of Deutsche Mutual Fund, the JV has moved to Top 15 league in terms of AAUM, the statement added.
