Surrendered KPLT militant killed by ex-colleagues

A surrendered Karbi Peoples' Liberation Tiger (KPLT) militant was gunned down by his erstwhile colleagues in early morning today.
According to police officials, a five-member group of KPLT terrorists dragged out their former colleague Chandra Bey from his house at Malasikro Basti under Dolamara police station in Bokajan sub division of Karbi Anglong district.
Then the militants fired four rounds pointing towards Bey's temple from close range, killing him on the spot.
Police recovered two empty cartridge, of INSAS and AK-47 rifles each, from the spot.
