Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi asked Information Technology Department to go for "skill mapping" to explore future job opportunities in the field.
Asking IT department to find out as what kind of jobs will be required after 10 years from now, Sushil Modi instructed them to prepare a course to train job aspirants accordingly.
Modi also holds charge of IT department.
"I would ask Rahul Singh (IT Department's Secretary) to carry out skill mapping to find out as which types of jobs will be required after 10 years from now...and prepare a course and train youths accordingly keeping in mind the future requirements, so that youths are not left unemployed even after getting training," Modi said.
There will be frustration among youths if they don't get jobs even after getting training, Dy CM said adding that they will think that they were still unemployed even after getting the training of DTP and Data Entry Operator.
Modi said this while addressing a function organised by IT department to inaugurate 52 Skill Development Centres (SDCs) in the state.
MoUs were signed between IT department and firms which will run these centres in the state and impart skill development training to youths in order to make them eligible for getting job opportunities.
Labour Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, Information Technology Department's Secretary Rahul Singh, Department's Special Secretary Manish Kumar and Bihar Skill Development Mission Director Sanjay Kumar were also present on the occasion.
Stating that there is the requirement of skill in every field, Dy CM said the country today needs entrepreneurs who can become job providers by setting up their own firm after getting training and skills in different fields.
About 2.29 lakh youths have been given the training of skill development under the state government's 'Kushal Yuva Karyakram' under which they are given training of basic knowledge of English, communication skill and computer, he said adding 75,000 youths are getting training at present.
The state government's 14 different departments have identified 40 trades/courses in which youths will be imparted skill development training, Modi said.
