Principal Sub-Judge T Chandrasekaran rejected Ali's plea after the prosecution argued that the accused might jump bail again as he had done earlier.
Ali was granted bail in the case 21 years ago, but had jumped the bail. He was allegedly involved in the RSS office blast in Chennai in 1993 which had left 11 persons dead.
Since 1993, Ali was at large and was nabbed from Palakkad in Kerala on June 2 last and lodged in the Central jail here.
The defence counsel has argued that Ali was a kidney patient and had to undergo treatment urgently.
