The Switzerland-based company, which was present in the b2b segment by catering the institutional clients, is now shifting to finished products with end clients.
"We are in the premium end of the business. Our advantage is on the technical side and we are expecting 40 to 50 per cent segment in the high-rise building in places as Mumbai. We will be the premium end of the player," Geberit Managing Director Abubaker Koya told PTI.
He further added: "The new segment which we are opening could be up to Rs 100 crore to 200 crore of prefabricated toilet."
"However, the premium segment within this, where companies like Geberit are major players, has grown at a higher rate of over 20 per cent per annum." Koya added.
