The man, hailing from Uttarakhand, was allegedly wrongly declared "HIV positive" in his medical report, the official said.
"He was to visit Dubai early this year for a job. For his medical test, he went to a diagnostic lab in south Delhi's New Friends Colony area, which declared him HIV positive in February. The person then went to another lab in Gurgaon and Uttarakhand, and both declared him HIV negative," DMC Registrar Girish Tyagi said.
Tyagi said the medical authorities at the local level have been asked to take "appropriate action".
"The Executive Committee directs that the DGHS be requested to take note of its observations made here in above and take stringent action including closure of the...as it is apprehended that such a centre may not be equipped or have proper qualified doctors, to run laboratory tests," the order issued last month by the DMC said.
