Tantrik and two disciples roughed up by local people

A tantrik and two of his disciples were roughed up local people near Kalna in East Burdwan district after they saw them taking young children to a temple near the cremation ground, police said.
Two disciples of tantrik Sanyasi Soren were taking two young children to the temple yesterday where preparations were on for Kali puja at the temple near the Tenhami cremation ground at Baidyapur.
Suspecting that the tantrik and his disciples were going to sacrifice the two young children the local people caught hold of them and roughed them up, the police said.
The police rushed to the spot and rescued the tantrik and his two disciples but the local people demanded that they be handed over to them.

Soren claimed the children were being taken to the temple to watch the kali puja in the temple.
