Design services provider Tata Elxsi Ltd today posted over 41.7 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 70.49 crore for the quarter ended June 30.
The net profit stood at Rs 49.74 crore in the same period previous fiscal, the Tata Group company said in a regulatory filing.
The total income from operations surged 17.7 per cent to Rs 389.88 crore for the June quarter. The company is structured into two industry verticals - software development and services, and system integration and support services.
The shares of the company closed 5.5 per cent higher at Rs 1,454.1 apiece on the BSE.
Tata Elxsi provides design and technology services for product engineering and solutions in industries such as automotive, broadcast and communications. Its portfolio of offerings include technology consulting and services, new product design and development, amongst others.
