Tata Power, the country's largest private power generation utility, today appointed Ramesh N Subramanyam as the company's chief financial officer.
Subramanyam, who was CFO and Company Secretary of Coastal Gujarat Power Ltd, the subsidiary that operates the 4,000 MW ultra mega power project at Mundra in Gujarat, took over as the Tata Power CFO yesterday, the company said in a statement.
"This is consequent to the superannuation of S Ramakrishnan, Executive Director (Finance), on February 28," Tata Power said.
Subramanyam, who joined Tata Power in 2007, has 22 years of experience in the fields of finance, corporate treasury, accounts and secretarial functions.
Shares of Tata Power were trading at Rs 84.25 on the BSE, down 0.71 per cent.
