India's largest software services firm TCS today said its global treasury head and company secretary Suprakash Mukhopadhyay has been transferred to its parent company Tata Sons where he would join the Chairman's office.
Mukhopadhyay would report to Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran, who was elevated to lead the over USD 100 billion group in January this year after the unceremonious sacking of Cyrus Mistry.
"We wish to inform you that Suprakash Mukhopadhyay, Global Treasury Head and Company Secretary will be transferred to Tata Sons Ltd and will join the Chairman's office reporting the Chairman," the company said.
It further added: "The board has appointed Rajendra Moholkar as the Company Secretary to take over from Suprakash Mukhopadhyay on his relinquishing the office on April 24, 2017."
Mukhopadhyay had joined TCS in 2008 from Tata Sons and in 2010 took over the global treasury function.
