TCS sets up Japan-centric delivery centre in Pune

Country's largest software services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) today inaugurated a Japan-centric Delivery Center (JDC) at its Pune facility.
The new centre augments delivery capabilities of TCS' 2,400 strong Japan-based workforce, it said in a statement.
TCS had established a joint venture with Mitsubishi Corporation in July 2014 as part of a strategic expansion in the Japanese market.
The JDC facilities will cater to specific business needs of Japanese corporations, enabled by way of localisation of global business practices and enhanced language support, it said.
"Opening of this centre is a continuation of our investment and commitment to the Japan market. Our model brings out the best of our capabilities in Japan and leverages TCS' global strengths," TCS CEO and MD N Chandrasekaran said.

NetworkPlay bags Airtel Digital TV mandate * Digital media firm Networkplay today said it has won the exclusive mandate from Airtel Digital TV to monetise the latter's digital advertising inventories.
"NetworkPlay has been working with Airtel DTH since their launch in India... NetworkPlay's technology will help in significantly growing the advertising revenues for Airtel Digital TV," said SVG Media India Managing Director Anurag Gupta.
Airtel Digital TV is the DTH arm of telecom major, Bharti Airtel.

HirePro launches online platform for recruitment * Recruitment solutions provider HirePro today said launched its online platform for Campus Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) to bring colleges, students and corporates together to manage the selection process.
Campus RPO manages span of transactions covering talent branding, application processing, assessment, offer rollout and follow up till onboarding, it said.
Hirepro aims to connect over one million students in over 5,000 colleges with 0.5 million jobs, it added.
