TCS shares end flat ahead of Q2 numbers

Shares of Tata Consultancy Services ended on a flat note today ahead of its second quarter results to be announced later in the day.
The blue-chip settled at Rs 2,597.40, up 0.19 per cent on BSE. During the day, it gained 0.77 per cent to Rs 2,612.45.
On NSE, shares of the company were marginally up by 0.22 per cent at Rs 2,598.55.
In terms of volume, 1.22 lakh shares of the company changed hands at BSE and over 30 lakh at NSE during the day.
Infosys, India's second-biggest software exporter, yesterday reported a 9.8 per cent rise in September quarter consolidated net profit, but gave a lower dollar revenue guidance for the current fiscal.
Meanwhile, in the broader market, the BSE Sensex ended the day at 26,846.53, down 57.58 points.
