According to police, a IVth class girl has complained to a teacher that the accused Suresh Chandra was showing them obscene images from his mobile in the school this afternoon.
The irate teacher locked the accused inside a classroom, and informed the police.
The accused mathematics teacher had recently joined the school under Kotwali police station area.
The cell phone has been recovered from the accused and mobile data along with CCTV footage inside the classroom will be examined, CO City Anil Kumar Yadav said.
On the other hand, the accused claimed that enmity between the complainant girl and her family with him was the reason behind these allegations.
He also claimed that he was pursuing B.Sc and had joined the school to meet his expenses.
