Reports in a section of media said the 15-year-old boy was allegedly hit on his head by a wooden duster by his teacher Rama Devi on Tuesday, resulting in head injuries after which he was shifted to a hospital and operated upon.
But during course of investigation, it was found that the boy had a clot in his brain and he had been undergoing treatment for the same, police said.
Jagadgirigutta Police Station Inspector P Srinivas said that following a complaint by the boy's father, a case was registered under relevant sections of IPC and Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act against the teacher and she was questioned.
