Accused Manoj Khotkar (27), who used to take private coaching classes at Vartak Nagar in Thane city, asked the 16-year-old victim on December 18 last year to turn off the fan in an adjacent room when there was no other student in the class, they said.
When the girl went to the next room, Khotkar followed her there and molested her, according to a complaint filed by the girl's family yesterday, they said.
Based on the complaint, the Vartak Nagar police arrested Manoj last night.
