Police, who registered a case on a complaint from the parents of the 15-year-old student, said initial investigation revealed that the duo had developed intimacy.
The teacher was 23-years old while the boy student was eight years younger to her.
The student had taken away with him 60 sovereigns of gold and Rs 10,000 cash from his house before fleeing with the teacher, according to the complaint given by the parents.
