Darshan Rani (60), a school teacher, was waiting along with her husband, at Nihalsinghwala bus stand when the truck crushed her, police said, adding that her husband escaped unhurt.
The truck driver identified as Darshan Singh managed to escape after leaving the truck, police said.
In another mishap, an unidentified person died after the shed of a harvesting combine fell upon him last eveing at Gulabewala village in Muktsar district, adjacent to Moga district, police said.
