Two of the biggest comedy stars of Hollywood -- Ted Danson and Tina Fey -- are collaborating on a new comedy series for NBC Network.
According to Variety, the network has issued a straight to series order for the comedy, which will feature Danson as a wealthy businessman who runs for mayor of Los Angeles for all the wrong reasons.
Fey will write and produce the series alongside Robert Carlock.
"We are thrilled to be back home at NBC and writing for one of the network's greatest stars of all time, Mary Steenburgen's husband, Ted," Fey and Carlock said in a joint statement.
The series, which hails from Universal Television, has been given a 13-episode initial order.
Danson recently received an Emmy nomination for his performance in NBC's hit comedy "The Good Place".
