Angry over alleged eve-teasing, the girl on Sunday stopped Ankit Rajput's motorcycle by blocking the way with her bicycle in front of Puranpur police station and dragged him inside the premises, police said.
The girl slapped the youth and beat him up with her shoes and made him touch her feet seeking apology in front of police personnel, they said.
The video of the incident went viral on social networking sites yesterday.
Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Vijay Bahadur Pathak said the incident has once again brought to light the poor law and order situation in the Samajwadi Party-ruled Uttar Pradesh where eve-teasing and rape are becoming "daily affairs".
