Teenage girl raped repeatedly; one arrested

A 22-year-old youth from Nallasopara here has been arrested for allegedly raping a teenage girl whom he had befriended, police said today.
API Sunil Jadhav of Tulinj police station under Vasai division told PTI that the incident took place in March 2016 when the accused invited the college girl to his birthday party, where he mixed vodka with her cold drink.
After she fell drowsy, the youth raped her and video-graphed the episode following which he began blackmailing her, the police officer said.
The accused then raped her repeatedly threatening her to make the video viral and defame her.
According to the victim's complaint, the accused allegedly used broken glass pieces to inflict pain on her and tortured her all these months when she pleaded him to delete the video.

The accused was arrested yesterday under section 376, 328, 324, 504, 506 of the IPC.
