Teenaged girl kidnapped

A 17-year-old girl has been allegedly kidnapped by unidentified persons from a village near here, police said today.
The girl, a student of class XII, was kidnapped on August 3 from Tankri village, about 16 km from here, they said.
Search is on to trace the girl, police said.
