Teenager run over and killed by bus, road block in Uluberia

A teenaged boy was run over and killed by a bus tonight in Uluberia police station area of Howrah district, triggering the local people to block the NH-6 and ransack another bus and a nearby bar the police said.
Sudam Mallick (17) died under the wheels of the bus at Kashyappur locality following which the road blockade began at the area.
Police said though the killer bus had fled, the mob ransacked another bus and a nearby bar.
The police lifted the road block after around half an hour.
No one was arrested.
