Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao Wednesday called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at the Raj Bhavan.
Rao met the governor after the Telangana Rashtra Samithi's state committee meeting.
The Governor was invited for the inauguration of Kaleswaram irrigation project, official sources said.
The Chief Ministers of AP and Maharashtra have already been invited for the inaguration of the project on June 21.
The government's decision to construct new Secretariat and legislature buildings in the city and other issues are also understood to have been discussed during the meeting with the governor, the sources said.
A meeting of Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, in the presence of the Governor, is likely to be held on July 3 to discuss pending issues between the two states, the sources added.
