During the discussion with the prime minister, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president brought up the demand for the 55-acre Bison Polo Ground in the state for the construction of the Assembly building.
It was also learnt that Rao sought permission from Modi for the construction of eco-friendly bridges in the protected areas of Telangana's Kumaram Bheem Asifabad district.
The issue of reservations for Muslims in government jobs and education as well as those related to farmers also featured during the interaction between the two leaders.
