Telangana: Four of family killed in road accident

Four members of a family died this evening after the car they were travelling in collided with a truck near Matedu village in Nellikuduru area of Telangana's Mahabubabad district, police said.
Raja Rathnam, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thorrur, said the accident occurred when 42-year-old Nalla Srinivas Reddy and his family members were returning to their native village of Vavilala after attending a wedding.
Reddy's car tried to overtake a truck but another truck coming from the opposite direction dashed his car, killing all four instantly.
Apart from Reddy, the other three deceased were identified as his wife Madhavi (35), his mother Laxmi (65) and his ten-year-old daughter, Krishnaveni.
