The minister, who deliberated on issues concerning Panchayat Raj and Rural Development with officials today, asked them to prepare proposals for converting the 'thandas' as Panchayatis.
The meeting also discussed obtaining the 14thFinance Commission funds for Panchayats expeditiously, a state government release said.
Preparing a new software for posting works related to rural employment guarantee act and Panchayats online was also discussed, it added.
