Rao along with a team of officers met Chouhan at the Mantralaya (state secretariat) to discuss the salient features of the ambitious project.
"The Chief Minister said that Narmada-Kshipra Link project was completed in a record period of 13-months. Through it, Narmada water is being supplied to Kshipra river through pipeline," an official release said.
The project will provide irrigation and drinking water. Narmada water will also be supplied to four other rivers of Madhya Pradesh.
The state will extend maximum cooperation to Telangana in irrigation projects, it said.
