On credible information, a case of disproportionate assets was registered against the officer, M Chandramouli, and simultaneous searches were conducted at his residences and those of his relatives and associates in Warangal and other places yesterday, an ACB release said here today.
The searches revealed Chandramouli possessed assets worth Rs 1.23 crore which were disproportionate to his known sources of income, it said.
The market value of these properties, which included two houses, 16 plots, one car, one bike, 239 gm gold jewelry and household articles, is about Rs 6 crore, the ACB said.
