Temperature rise in UP, dry conditions to continue

Day temperatures rose in many parts of Uttar Pradesh today as dry weather conditions prevailed with Banda being the hottest place at 46 degrees Celsius.
Day temperature appreciably rose in Agra, Meerut divisions, rose in Kanpur division and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state, the MeT department said.
Temperatures were appreciably above normal in Allahabad, Agra and Meerut divisions, they said, adding, it was above normal in Jhansi.
Weather is likely to remain dry over the state for the next couple of days, MeT department added.
